About the W.B. Small Trust

The W.B. Small Trust was started by a prominent Waterloo, Iowa, physician and Methodist layman who gave his $70,000 estate to a trust formed to further the principles of the Christian faith.

That gift is now worth more than $1 million and has helped hundreds of seminarians reduce their debts as they move into the pastorate.

Interest from the Trust is given annually as scholarships for deserving seminary students with Iowa ties.
